Slovenia Could Become a European Las Vegas
Nova Gorica, 8 November - Slovenia as a destination for gamblers could benefit from its geographical position in Central Europe and its small size as well as the fact that gaming legislation in the neighbouring countries is stricter. This was said at a seminar on Slovene gaming industry potential by professor of economics William R. Eadington, who is also the director of the Institute for the Study of Gambling and Commercial Gaming at the University of Nevada. Eadington visited Slovenia upon the invitation of the Slovene chain of casinos HIT Nova Gorica.
