Electricity Price Up; Savske Elektrarne Granted License to Build Power Stations
Ljubljana, 9 November - Savske elektrarne, an electricity company, was granted a license by the government to build five power stations on the river Sava (from Suhadol to the state border with Croatia). A contract to that effect will be signed within ten days. In turn, Savske elektrarne will pay to the state an annual fee totaling ten percent of the income from the electricity sold. The project is worth around one billion D-marks.
