Delo Calls Coalition Negotiations "War of Nerves"
Ljubljana, 10 November - LDS leader Janez Drnovsek would like to get assurances from the coalition partners even now when everybody is in a bit of hurry in order to refer to them later. The potential coalition partners are eager to enter a government while being well aware that they must not make too many commitments. Those who will later want to act differently from what they signed in the coalition contract, will be considered the Marjan Podobnik of this government, Delo points out in Friday's editorial referring to the ex-deputy prime minister and leader of the former Slovene People's Party (SLS), which decided to withdraw from the government coalition to merge with the Christian Democrats (SKD) and thus caused the collapse of Drnovsek's government on 8 April.
