Petrol Makes Profit of Nearly Five Million Euros
Ljubljana, 10 November - The Slovene oil company Petrol generated net sales revenues of 846.9 million euros and a net profit of 4.8 million euros by the end of September, unaudited operation results show. Negative effects of the reinstated state control over prices of fuel and diesel oil in October will only reflect in operation results in the future, reported Petrol. The company filed a lawsuit against the state demanding compensation for the difference between the nominal and actual sales costs of 9 million euros and an initiative to reassess whether the October act is entirely in accordance with the Constitution.
