Slovene Wine-Growing Areas Celebrate "Autumnal Carnival"
Ljubljana, 11 November - Wine celebrations began on St. Martin Day in Slovenia, a country priding itself on its good-quality wines. November 11th, also known here as "Autumnal Carnival", marks the day when new wine turns wine, and will traditionally culminate in a meal with St. Martin's goose.
