80th Anniversary of Rapallo Agreement
Ljubljana, 12 November - Sunday, 12 November, will mark the 80th anniversary of the signing of the Rapallo Agreement reached between Italy and the then Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in Rapallo. In accordance with the agreement Italy received Trieste, Gorizia, Gradisca, part of Carniola, Istria and Dalmatia. Some 300,000 Slovenes thus came under Italy, where they were given no minority protection.
