Swedish Foreign Minister Visits Slovenia
Brnik, 15 November - EU enlargement will be a priority for the Swedish EU presidency in the first half of 2001, said Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh during her visit to Slovenia on Wednesday. According to the Minister, Sweden will emphasize differentiation and flexibility, which means that each EU candidate country will proceed at its own pace, beginning negotiations on the more difficult chapters of legislation when it is ready.
