Minister Bizjak: Security Situation in Slovenia Remains Relatively Favourable

The security situation in Slovenia remains relatively favourable, since, after a considerable increase in the number of criminal offences in 1992, the figure is now rising decisively more slowly and similarly to western countries. Given the situation in Slovenia's neighbourhood, it would be self-deluding to expect the number to drop, Ivan Bizjak, Minister of Interior, said at a press conference on Tuesday.
