National Museum Obtains Several Finest Works of Art
Ljubljana, 16 November - Slovenia's National Museum has obtained nine finest paintings and sculptures of several distinguished Slovene artists which used to be displayed at the ministry of education and sports. The works of art have been "given" to the National Museum after the government took a relevant decision last Thursday on the initiative given by Minister of Education and Sports Lovro Sturm. The National Museum has thus acquired paintings by well known Slovene artists, such as painters Rihard Jakopic and Matija Jama, and sculptor Jakob Savinsek.
