Tenth Anniversary of Phone Line for Children
Ljubljana, 16 November - The number of children and young people using a free SOS line has rapidly increased since the line was introduced in Slovenia ten years ago, only to hit 10,000 calls per year after 1995. 14,000 calls were answered last year alone, related chiefly to love, sex, family, and school. The line is not intended for abused children only, but for all who find themselves in troubles or just have questions to ask.
