Tomb of Slovene Painter in Munich Renovated
Munich, 20 November - The tomb of Anton Azbe (1856-1905), a Slovene painter who was buried in the German city of Munich, was completely renovated last week to mark the 95th anniversary of his death. A bronze relief was added to the tomb on the initiative of Slovene diplomat Ivan Martelanc and with the support of a Bavarian-Slovene Society official, Peter Zimmermann, who made sure the painter's name was written in the original and that the previously wrong date of his death was corrected.
