Diplomat Kosin Presents His Book about Relations with Italy
Ljubljana, 22 November - Slovenia must allow for Italy's two-facedness in bilateral relations, but must not be discouraged from developing good relations with the western neighbour as this is the only way to defeat the negatively-inclined forces in Italy, Slovenia's first ambassador to Italy, Marko Kosin, told the press on Wednesday as he presented his book "The Oriigins of Slovenia's Diplomatic Relations with Italy (1991-1996)". The work lists a chronology of events from Slovenia's independence until the adoption of the Spanish compromise and the assumption of office by Prodi's government, and also touches upon the future of Slovene-Italian relations.
