FM Peterle Welcomes FRY's Admission to OSCE
Vienna, 27 November - Foreign Minister Lojze Peterle on Monday welcomed the decision of the OSCE Ministerial Council to admit Yugoslavia into the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe. The country can attain long term stability and prosperity only by democracy, Peterle pointed out in his address to the OSCE Ministerial Council gathered in Vienna. He called for a settlement in succession to former Yugoslavia and reiterated Slovenia's interest to take over the OSCE Chairmanship in 2005.
