Annual Inflation Rate Amounts to 8.9 Percent
Ljubljana, 27 November - The yearly inflation rate is expected to amount to 8.9 percent in 2000, the outgoing Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur told a press conference on Monday. Senjur, who anticipates more inflation-related difficulties in 2001 and 2002, said the inflation rate next year would be between seven and eight percent, while inflation of eight to 8.5 percent was forecast for 2001 in the autumn report of the Office for Macroeconomic Analyses and Development.
