Speakers of Parliaments from EU Aspirants Expect Enlargement in 2003
Limassol, 27 November - Speakers of parliaments from EU candidate countries who on Monday met for a traditional meeting with president of the European parliament on Cyprus expect that EU institutional reforms and an adequate pace of accession negotiations would enable EU to accept new members by 2003. Speaker of Slovene Parliament Borut Pahor is also attending the meeting, which will conclude on Tuesday with the adoption of a final statement.
