UN Conference on Climate Change Successful for Slovenia, Says Minister Umek
Ljubljana, 28 November - Although the UN conference on climate change did not succeed completely, a lot has been done, said the Slovene Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Andrej Umek at a news conference on Tuesday. He added that the Slovene delegation was very active and that the conference, which was underway in The Hague between 13 and 25 November, was successful for Slovenia, which presented and enforced its positions. This was also a step towards European integration, Minister Umek stressed.
