An ILO Official Advises Slovene Employers to Appoint a Representative in Brussels
Ljubljana, 29 November - It is vital that Slovenia should defend its interests in the negotiations with the EU and the government has to inform employers on what is going on in Brussels, a representative of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) stressed at a seminar organised by Slovene Employers' Association (ZDS) in Ljubljana on Wednesday. Jean-Marie Standaert said that the association should have more experts dealing with European affairs and that it would be wise to consider the option to appoint a standing representative in Brussels to advocate the interests of the ZDS in EU bodies.
