Review of Slovenian Press on January 20

Ljubljana, 20 January - The leading Slovenian dailies on Thursday featured front-page reports on the press conference given by Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek in articles entitled: "Slovenia Pursues Hard-Line Croatian Policy," (Delo), "Avoiding Politicization of Disputes," (Dnevnik), "Indicators of a Turning-point," (Republika), "Two More Weeks for Social Agreement," (Slovenec). Main editorials also revolve around the same topic. In addition, Delo has published a sequel to Wednesday's report on the official records and information compiled by Silvo Komar during his term in office as head of the Maribor division of the National Security and Intelligence Service. Featured most prominently among the foreign events is the signing of the agreement between Zagreb and Belgrade.
