Gay Activist Wins Slovene AIDS Foundation Award

Ljubljana, 1 December - Slovene poet and gay activist Brane Mozetic was conferred this year's international award given by the Robert AIDS Foundation for his efforts to fight HIV-virus infections, particularly for his work among homosexuals. The award, which aims to highlight the fact that any person committed to advocating preventive measures to fight HIV infection can make a difference and raise the tolerance towards AIDS victims, has been conferred for the sixth consecutive year.
