Leaderships of Slovene and Italian Police Meet

Cerklje na Gorenjskem, 4 December - Delegations of Slovene and Italian police forces, headed by their respective Director Generals Marko Pogorevc and Giovanni De Gennaro, met at Strmol Castle, some 30 kilometres north of Ljubljana, on Monday to discuss ways to suppress international organised crime and illegal migration. The Italian delegation congratulated Slovene police on the successful operation against Loncaric's criminal ring, which had smuggled over 10,000 clandestine immigrants across Slovenia to Italy, De Gennaro said after the meeting.
