Slovene Railways Fail to Meet Business Targets
Maribor, 5 December - Business results of the Slovene Railways in 2000 will not come up to the expectations, as the anticipated revenue from cargo traffic will be about 1.2 percent lower due to changes in transport profiles, fluctuations of foreign currencies, cancellations of certain profitable transports, as well as fierce competition in transport services, the company's manager Igor Zajec told a press conference on Tuesday.
