Slovenia's Policy on NATO Remains Unchanged, Defence Minister Tells EAPC
Brussels, 6 December - Slovenia has not changed its policy towards NATO by changing government, thus NATO membership remains one of the priorities of the new government. This was said on Wednesday by Slovene Minister of Defence Anton Grizold in an address to the annual meeting of defence ministers from member states of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council (EAPC). Slovenia expects to receive an invitation to join NATO at the next NATO summit, Grizold told STA after the ministerial meeting, which was also attended by Chief-of-Staff of the Slovene armed Forces, General Iztok Podbregar.
