Slovenia Accepts Initiative within NATO Cooperation Programme

Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek sent a letter to prime ministers of the NATO member countries and to the NATO secretary general informing them Slovenia accepted the invitation to join the cooperation programme. This was offered to Slovenia according to a decision adopted by the NATO summit meeting in Brussels within the Partnership for Peace initiative.
