Slovenia and FRY to Establish Diplomatic Relations
Ljubljana, 8 December - Ten years after the former Yugoslavia broke up, Slovenia and the FRY will establish full diplomatic relations on Saturday. The agreement to that effect will be signed in Ljubljana by Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel and his Yugoslav counterpart Goran Svilanovic, who will pay an official visit to Slovenia. Minister Rupel has already announced the Slovene government's plan to do its best so that embassies would be opened in Belgrade and Ljubljana as early as this year.
