Nice Decisions Are Positive, Says Slovenia's Negotiator with the EU
Budapest, 11 December - The decisions made by EU leaders at the Nice summit are positive in general, said the head of Slovenia's negotiating team with the EU Janez Potocnik, who met with his counterparts from the first group of candidate countries in Budapest on Monday. One of the reasons for the meeting was to evaluate the EU summit, whose decisions "made enlargement more predictable," Potocnik said in a statement for STA. "The candidate countries will now be able to truly concentrate on the negotiations with the Union and preparations to join it."
