Celebrating the Slovene Independence Day in New York
New York, 12 December - The Slovene Consulate in New York and the Slovene Embassy in Washington organised a formal reception on Slovene Independence Day at New York's UN Plaza Hotel. The host of the reception, Slovene Ambassador to the USA Davorin Kracun welcomed a number of distinguished guests, among them Assistant to the UN Secretary General Danilo Tuerk, a delegation of the Slovene Embassy to the UN and the Slovene Consul in Cleveland Tone Gogala.
