Port of Koper Exceeds Yearly Plan in Eleven Months
Koper, 12 December - Port of Koper handled 867,978 tonnes of cargo in November, a 35 percent increase compared to November 1999. In the first eleven months transship volume reached 8.7 million tonnes, which is an increase of 14 percent compared to the same period last year. The port's plan of 8.5 million tonnes for this year was reached and exceeded by 1.6 percent in the first eleven months.
