Review of the Slovene Economy in the Week from 9 to 15 December

Ljubljana, 17 December - Social partners, namely the government, employers and trade unions launched last week negotiations on a new model of wages policy which is expected to have a considerable impact on how business is managed in Slovenia. The Agriculture Ministry issued a decree to ban the use of animal-based fodder from January to July 2000, while talks with company Koto are still underway on the disposal of waste from abattoirs.
