President Kucan Acknowledges a Mutual Interest in Co-operation with Yugoslavia

Belgrade, 18 December - The establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovenia and Yugoslavia is a good sign yet it is impossible for things to change overnight. Now that Yugoslavia no longer insists on it that it is the sole successor to the former common state, the reestablishment of co-operation between the two countries is of mutual interest, said the Slovene president Milan Kucan in an interview for the Serbian national TV.
