Hotels on the Coast Anticipate Success in 2000

Portorož, 18 December - Hotels on the Slovene coast have had a very successful year, with a 20 percent increase in overnight stays at the Bernardin hotel resort in 2000 and that of 12 percent at the Portoroz-based hotels of the Metropol Group. According to the general manager of the Bernardin Hotels, Cedomir Vojnic, conference tourism was the main factor of success. The Metropol Group too will endeavour to increase the number of seminars in their hotels in the future, said the Group's marketing director, Janja Grgorovic.
