Unemployment Rate Lower in November

Ljubljana, 18 December - The number of the unemployed in Slovenia was 104,304 in November 2000, the lowest November figure since 1992. The 2000 average is decreasing further, with 106,784 unemployed persons in the first eleven months of 2000, a drop of 10.5 percent over the same period in 1999. However, more than 60 percent of the unemployed are long-term out of job, representatives of the National Employment Office told a press conference on Monday.
