Krsko Court Has no Jurisdiction over NEK's Case
Krško, 18 December - Krsko Nuclear Power Plant (NEK), a Slovenia-based N-plant jointly owned with Croatia, and Croatia's electricity supplier, HEP, received on Monday a decision taken by the Krsko District Court stating the court has no jurisdiction over a case brought against HEP by NEK. The power station brought changes against the Croatian power supplier for its failure to pay SIT 9.9 billion (euro 47 million) for the electricity supplied in 1996, 1997 and partly in 1998. NEK intends to appeal the decision, but should its appeal be rejected, the N-plant will resort to arbitration in Belgrade.
