Slovenia for Speedy Adoption of Italy's Minority Law

Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel met with representatives of the Slovene minority to Italy in Ljubljana on Tuesday in a bid to discuss all important issues concerning the Slovenes in Italy. The emphasis of the talks was on the bill on global protection of Slovenes in Italy waiting to be adopted by the Italian Senate, Minister Rupel told STA. According to him, the Slovene government will do everything in its power to speed up the adoption of the law.
