Eles Will Not Post a Loss This Year

Ljubljana, 19 December - The public company for electricity distribution, Elektro-Slovenija (Eles), will conclude the year with "satisfactory" operation results, the managing director Vitoslav Tuerk told the press on Tuesday. According to him, the company will end the year with red figures, although a loss of SIT 3 billion (14 million euros) has been envisaged. Eles namely managed to sell surplus electricity at rather high prices to Italy.
