Record Amount of Cargo for Port of Koper in 2000

Ljubljana, 19 December - Port of Koper will have loaded and unloaded record 9.3 million tonnes of ship cargo by the end of 2000, with the company's profit amounting to SIT 2.9 billion (13.8 million euros) and a 6.8 percent capital yield, the company's chairman of the board, Bruno Korelic, told a press conference on Tuesday. Port of Koper's great success in the past year was the license to manage the seventh peer in the Italian port of Trieste together with the company's Italian partners.
