Successor States Ready to Solve the Succession Issue Constructively
Brussels, 19 December - All successors to the former Yugoslav federation have showed the readiness and the will to constructively approach the issue of succession, which has been open for almost ten years, international mediator Sir Arthur Watts said after his meeting with the negotiating teams of the five successor states in Brussels on Tuesday. A similar assessment of the first such meeting after almost two-year deadlock was voiced by the cheif Slovene negotiator. "It seems to have begun moving," Miran Mejak said.
