Minister Rupel Receives Slovenes from Austria, Announces Visit to His Austrian Counterpart

As part of meetings with representatives of the Slovene ethnic minority abroad, Slovene Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel on Wednesday received a delegation of Slovenes living in Austria. The meeting welcomed the recent decision taken by the Austrian Constitutional Court which acknowledges the official use of the Slovene language also in towns where Slovenes are in minority, said Rupel after the meeting, and added that the decision implies a considerably wider and more consistent use of Slovene.
