Italy is Examining the Possibility of Using Money from Luxembourg Account
Rome, 20 December - The Italian government is examining the possibility of paying part of the damages owed to those Italian citizens who left the provinces of Istria and Dalmatia after WWII with the money Slovenia and Croatia have paid on a fiduciary account with the Dresdner Bank in Luxembourg. This was confirmed Wednesday for STA by Paolo Borioni of the Office of State Undersecretary to the Italian Foreign Ministry Umberto Ranieri.
