MPs Dissatisfied with Government Measures to Assist in the Closure of Duty-Free Shops

Ljubljana, 21 December - The parliamentary committee on finance and monetary policy on Thursday decided not to support the proposed government measures to help remove the negative consequences of the transformation of duty-free shops nor the amendment under which the shops on the border with Austria and Italy are to be transformed into ordinary shops by 1 April 2001.
