Government Takes Decision to Open Embassy in Belgrade as Soon as Possible
Ljubljana, 21 December - The government took a decision Thursday to open an embassy in Belgrade as soon as possible. The ambassador to Yugoslavia has not yet been appointed, but should be shortly, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel told the press after the government session. Slovenia and the FRY established diplomatic relations on 9 December during the Yugoslav Foreign Minister's visit to Ljubljana.
