Maribor, 23 December - It is hard to imagine that Slovenes will ever again go to the polls in such large numbers as they did ten years ago, when they expressed their will for Slovene independence with almost a 90-percent majority (a referendum asking Slovene citizens whether they supported Slovene independence was held in Slovenia ten years ago to this date). It is true that there are only a few such cases of decisiveness in the history of a nation, but there are also only a few such cases of unity as was that shown at that referendum, writes the daily Vecer on Saturday.
