Government Adopts Order on Temporary State Financing
Ljubljana, 23 December - The Slovene government on Saturday held a correspondence session and at it adopted an order on temporary state financing for the first three months of next year, reported the Ministry of Finance. The move comes as the Slovene government has failed to pass a budget in time for 2001. The maximum expenditures in the period of temporary financing will be decided upon on the basis of the 2000 budget and will amount to SIT 264.9 billion. Total income in the first quarter is expected to total SIT 183 billion.
