Fire Causes Extensive Damage to Agricultural Institute

Ljubljana, 25 December - A fire which broke out in the stables of an Agriculture Institute near Menges, some 15 kilometres north of Ljubljana, late on Saturday night is estimated to have caused some SIT 10 million (50,000 euros) damage. The fire is said to have been started by a fire cracker which was lit in the vicinity of the stables, reported national radio.
