29 December - International Day of Biotic Diversity
Ljubljana, 28 December - Friday will mark the international day of biotic diversity, which was pronounced by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 1993. Slovenia ratified the Convention on Biological Diversity in 1996, the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning reported.
