Slovene Red Cross Helps 70,000 Families and Individuals in 2000

Ljubljana, 28 December - CHARITY
The Slovene Red Cross this year carried our a number of programmes, winning 100,000 blood donors that gave 45,000 litres of blood. Some 260 tonnes of food and over 300 tonnes of other humanitarian aid were distributed, helping over 70,000 families and individuals. Medical treatments and holidays for 12,000 children were organised, the Slovene Red Cross reported.
