Slovene NLB Bank Acquires a Share in Tutunska banka
Skopje, 28 December - The bank LHB Internationale Handelsbank from Frankfurt, which is member of the Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) group, last week supplied fresh capital of DM 15 million to the Macedonian bank Tutunska banka, thus becoming the majority owner together with the NLB. While the largest Slovene commercial bank NLB holds a 17.5-percent share, the LHB holds a 34.5-percent share in the Macedonian bank. The NLB confirmed to STA that Marko Voljc and Alojz Jamnik, the chairman and member of the NLB board respectively, have been elected to the seven-member board of the Macedonian bank.
