Slovenia Extradites "Smuggling Queen" to Italy

Ljubljana, 29 December - Slovene authorities handed over 32 year old Chinese-Croatian citizen Wang Xiumei to their Italian counterparts on Friday. Xiumei, who is the former wife of smuggling lord Josip Loncaric, was extradited only a day after the Slovene Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak issued an order for her extradition. Xiumei is accused of bringing more than 10,000 Asian illegal immigrants into Western Europe.
