When Can Slovenia Expect Liberalisation of Telecommunication Market?

Ljubljana, 31 December - Slovenia should have, according to the promises given to Brussels, adopted and enforced new legislation on telecommunications by 2001, which would harmonise the telecommunications field to the acquis. With such legislation Slovenia would construct a legal framework for activities on a liberalised telecommunications market; that is to be formed on 1 January 2001 according to the current legislation from 1997.
