NLB Sets its Own Interest Rates

Slovenia's largest bank is withdrawing as of Thursday from an inter-bank agreement that regulates the setting of interest rates for over 30-day deposits. Nova Ljubljanska banka will thus set daily interest rates in line with its own internal model, a move which should make the bank more competitive on the market.
