Slovene Brewery Purchases 12-Percent Stake in Sarajevo Brewery
Ljubljana, 1 February - Pivovarna Union, a leading Slovene brewery, has purchased a 12-percent stake in a Sarajevo-based brewery, a deal worth four million German marks. The contract to that effect was signed last week between Pivovarna Union and the Bosnian Privatisation Agency. The Ljubljana-based brewery intends to supply Sarajevska pivovara with additional fresh capital in a bid to become its majority owner, Pivovarna Union reported on Thursday.
